Rabbi Nava B. Meyersdorf coordinates and leads the overseas trips of the Nava Tehila choir from Jerusalem, and is responsible for the association's relations with Israel and the Diaspora. Spiritual leader, singer and harmonium player.
Rabbi Nava is a creative force in the field of prayer, music and creative spirituality. She was ordained as a rabbi at the Schechter Rabbinical Seminary, founded (with her partner, Rabbi Yerach Meiersdorf) of the egalitarian minyan in Ein Kerem, Jerusalem, established and led the center for creative and experiential prayer at the Fuchsberg Center in Jerusalem. Rabbi Nava served as the rabbinic intern at Congregation Nava Tehila in the year 2021-2022, was one of the community's Levite circle, and takes part of Nava Tehila’s next steps think tank.
Between summer 2024 and summer 2027, Rabbi Nava is living with her family in Toronto, where she serves as a part-time rabbi at Congregation Adath Israel. She is the producer and Rabbinic lead of Nava Tehila Jerusalem Band, that tours North America three times a year to visit Jewish communities, bring our message and forge deep ties.
